UPCOMING EVENTS: SCHOOL CALENDARS

Dear RUSD,

Congratulations to Del Mar on being named a National School to Watch…Again!
This prestigious honor recognizes the school's commitment to academic excellence and model school practices. The California Schools to Watch program, a part of the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform, sets a high bar for middle schools. Del Mar’s achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and families. Congratulations!

The Hour of Code
The Hour of Code is a fun and engaging way to introduce students to the world of computer science. With just one hour, students can learn basic coding concepts and unleash their creativity. While our district values a balanced approach to technology, we recognize the importance of digital literacy. By participating in the Hour of Code, students can develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a foundation for future technological advancements. Way to go! Thank you for the improved participation in YouthTruth!
Our participation rate for students was 100%, staff 100%, and parents were up from 40% to 48%. The information gathered is important. We look forward to the analysis and steps forward based on the input.
