Watching the Bel Aire play was incredibly touching and heartwarming. I was amazed! What a great example of parents, community, and staff coming together to create great experiences for students. Thank you!
- Transportation Update - Beginning next school year, our 4-year old students will also be able to ride the school buses. Look for bus passes to go on sale at the beginning of May.
- PreK and Kindergarten Student Registration - Reed Elementary School online registration is open for incoming 2024-2025 PreK and kindergarten students. Reed School has extended the PreK enrollment window to include all 4-year-old children (residents) who will turn 5 years old on/between September 2, 2024 and September 1, 2025. If you are considering enrolling your child for the 2024-25 school year, please do so as early as possible, as student numbers directly impact staffing. Also, please feel free to share this information with friends or neighbors who are not yet members of our Reed School Community.

- Phoebe Hearst 2024 Outstanding Educator Award - Each year parents have the opportunity to nominate a favorite teacher for the PTA sponsored award. Nominate an amazing teacher for this award by completing this form by Friday, April 5.
- Our Chief Business Official, Mr. Carlos Estrella, is Retiring - Mr. Estrella informed us this week that he has decided to “graduate” and move on to his next stage of life. He will finish out the school year with us. He has been an incredible asset to our school district. His financial understanding and his deep value of people will be tremendously missed!

The PTA Executive Board wants to congratulate Bel Aire on their fantastic run
of The Wizard of Oz. The Bel Aire Play is a marquee PTA event and is one
of the most beloved and successful community bonding opportunities
within our district. It was a true collaboration between our students
and the PTA, and a testament to the countless volunteer hours
contributed. Thank you to all the PTA members and students
who volunteered their time and made this such a magical
experience. Bravo to Anne Cirani and Jen Feldmen
for stepping up and leading this production
with such humor and grace!
