Dear RUSD Community,

At 9:30 a.m. we received an Emergency Alert on our phones (from the USGS Shake Alert: "Earthquake Detected! Drop, Cover, Hold On. Protect Yourself). A 4.6 earthquake occurred in Concord.

Although we did not feel an earthquake, all three school sites conducted a Drop, Cover, Hold On response. All students and staff are safe.  All facilities are in good condition.

Coincidentally, we have our scheduled districtwide earthquake drill tomorrow 10/19/23 at 10:19 a.m.   More information to come in Headline News today.
