RUSD Community,
I’m excited to report that the construction of Bel Aire’s playground surfacing will begin tomorrow! Additions and touch-ups are still being considered, but it will be so great to see students enjoying the structure in the near future. The playground company is predicting that students will be on the BA playground as early as October 16th!
- Strategic Planning - Our current strategic plan comes to an end this school year. This year, we’ll be asking all involved parties about what you’d love to see in RUSD in the future. Great preparation work is taking place. More to come soon.
- Districtwide Earthquake Drill - Each year, we conduct 3 districtwide drills to include a test of our communication systems. Our first drill will be an earthquake drill on October 19th. We will send you specific information and instructions on October 18th.
- Big Thanks to Those that Volunteered for the Spanish Task Force! - We’ll continue to discuss the topic internally, and our next full meeting will be December 5th.
