RUSD Community,
I’m so excited to say that we have students playing on the playgrounds at Reed Elementary. Thank you to the site principals and the groups that gathered to give input. Bel Aire’s should be completed in the next week or two. Additions and touch-ups are still taking place, but it’s so exciting to see students starting to enjoy the structures. We will stay in touch about an upcoming Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

TOWNTASTIC Get ready to join us at Reed Elementary on Thursday, September 28th from 5:00 – 7:00pm for food, music, and fun alongside a cardboard town created by Reed students. To join in the fun, students can create and decorate a structure (made of recycled materials) that represents some aspect of our town. This year’s theme will be “A Futuristic Tiburon”… think self-driving school bus or robots serving school lunch!
TOWNTASTIC is a fun, family friendly community-building event and all families, caretakers, and siblings are welcome. There will be food and beverages available for purchase. It’s a great chance to see your kids connect with friends and make new ones. We look forward to seeing you there!
We would love your help with making this event a success! If you would like to volunteer, please click here.
