PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Leadership helping our Coyotes & Hawks transition to Cougars!!!

We are closing in fast and will begin to wind down over the next week to prepare for the finish of the 2022/23 school year. As you enjoy this long weekend please be mindful of upcoming events to ensure a smooth check out for summer. This week we are going to clean out hallway lockers on Tuesday and students may need extra bags for personal belongings and potentially a ride home. We will then have PE lockers cleaned out on Wednesday. From here we will start Thursday with 8th grade and collect assigned devices. Grades 7 and 6 will follow according to the schedule here. Please do not hesitate to contact the front office if you have any questions.

For our graduating class we want to remind families that we are holding our 8th grade awards assembly on Monday, June 5th at 8:30 am. Our rising Cougars will also have their trip to Six Flags and will have their last dance, Friday, June 9th after the ceremony at 7 pm. Thank you in advance to our amazing PTA for making all these loved events and amazing memories happen for our Class of 2023!!

Congrats to Golden Bell winners! Ms. Kath Irving, Ms. Cindy Traverso, and Mr. Manny!!

We also want to spotlight SPARK and all our foundation offers to our students with programming that directly supports our students. Please help us reach our goal and take a moment to read more below under SPARK news!!

Last, but not least we are looking for the 2023-24 WEB Leaders for Hall! See the call for rising 8th grade student support with our Hall tradition to welcome our incoming class for 6th grade!!! This is your chance to be a leader at Hall and welcome our newest cubs to middle school. Encourage your rising 8th grader to attend the informational meeting for WEB on Wednesday, May 31st in Room 304! We hope to see you there!

Wishing you all a beautiful three day weekend!

SPARK NEWS

SPARK is closing in on our $1.5M goal, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we have received so far, but we still need your help. Thanks to the generosity of a district family offering a $10K dollar-for-dollar match plus contributions and pledge commitments from 20 families, we made significant progress this past week. However, we still need $75K to hit our goal of $1.5M before June 30, 2023. DONATE TODAY!

What happens if we don’t hit our goal? Not hitting our goal means we must reduce our commitment to LCMSD for Art, Music, Science, Technology, and Wellness next year, affecting resources for our students.

What can I do today?

If you have pledged but have yet to donate, please reconfirm your commitment by submitting your payment today or letting us know when to expect it. As a reminder, all pledges are due on or before June 30, 2023. If you haven’t donated to Annual Giving this year, remember that all funds raised this year are spent this year. Please join the 75% of families who have come together to support our students and teachers.
