RUSD Community,
It was such a joy to be back this week. I absolutely love seeing everyone. I get to be here for the month of April. Then, my fourth (and hopefully final) surgery is scheduled for May 4th. Fortunately, Dr. Kevin Skelly will be able to return to serve as the Interim Superintendent during my absence. My plan is to return on May 22nd. I truly appreciate the incredible support and kindness I have received during this medical journey. This is an amazing community of educators and families. We can do hard things together!
Hard things can also be exhausting, so I hope you all have a chance to recharge and enjoy Spring Break! Remember to take time to find joy with family, laugh with friends, spend time with nature, and enjoy a hobby.
