Board Updates
At the March 8 Board Meeting Hall Middle was celebrated as a redesignated School to Watch. Trustees approved the tentative agreement with LCMEA (teachers association), second interim budget, and staffing reductions associated with the elimination of two electives at Hall Middle. Parent meetings for 2023-24 6th, 7th, and 8th grade families have been scheduled to discuss student options for elective choices. The next Board Meeting is scheduled for April 19 in the Hall Library.

Join us for a fun assembly on 3/17 at 8:15am. Readathon will announce bookmark winners, the Readathon Trophy will be given to the top class, and much more fun! Encourage your students to wear green and celebrate this spirit day!

2023 Yearbooks For Sale Order your Neil Cummins yearbook for $28 for the 22/23 school year at this link by April 7. After April 7 the price will go up to $30 and yearbooks will only be available until supplies run out. 📚
Hall Middle School
Are you hoping to learn more about the transition for your rising Cougar? Come to our tour!! Hall is offering tours to prospective families to see our campus and take a peek inside middle school. NC Campus Ecology and Beautification Team Update
The Student Seed Planting Day and our first Garden Work Day of the year were both successful thanks to so many wonderful parent volunteers and Neil Cummins students. Almost every Neil Cummins student was able to plant seeds on March 2nd. We will have SO MANY wonderful vegetable and flower plants to choose from: watermelon, sunflowers, squash, dill, peppers, chili, basil, cosmos, sunflowers…You name it, the kids planted it!
