Dear Bel Aire Families,
December is a busy month at Bel Aire!
The Chorus group joined our young friends at Reed School today for a performance. Also today, the first Del Mar Student Leadership group came to Bel Aire for their last visit--thank you Del Mar! Next week we have the 2nd MAP test and our Winter Fair.
On Monday, we practiced safety at a district-wide fire drill and our students and staff aced the test. We'll have a district-wide safety meeting tomorrow and I'll lead a small group of parents, emergency responders, and other stakeholders on a tour of Bel Aire.
BEL AIRE WINTER FAIR!
Next Wednesday, 12/14, Student Council will lead the annual Bel Aire Winter Fair after lunch. It's also a Spirit Day with the theme of "Winter Attire." Mittens, scarves, holiday themed gear, and any other winter wear would be appropriate and fun.
The day will start with students dropping off baked goods. Games, crafts, Bel Aire merch, SpiritWear, baked good, music, and more from 12:55-1:30. All baked items will be sold for $1. Please help out if you have time (and send your kids with small bills to buy bake goods, merch, or spirit wear).”
The PTA is generously helping with the event. Parents, if you are available to help, we'd love to have a few volunteers.
Message from Mrs. Bontz's class:
Mrs. Bontz's class would like the Bel Aire community to know they have created beautiful cards (see below) and are selling them in support of the families and children in Ukraine. Cards are $5.00 each. All money collected from the sale of the cards will go directly to a nonprofit organization that supports families in Ukraine. Cards can be purchased in Mrs. Bontz's class for $5.00. Thank you!
